We headed over to Lincolnshire Showground for Primordial Radio’s General Mayhem. 2022 saw the event expanding to 2 days, with 20 bands across 2 stages with no clashes. Friday was headlined by Florence Black and Saturday by Kris Barrass Band.
Friday was opened on the Main Stage by hardcore/crossover thrash newcomers (feat. members of TesseracT and Eths) Cage Fight, they were followed by the very energetic Seething Akira on the Primordial Presents Stage. Bands continued to alternate between the 2 stages throughout the rest of the day. Next to take the Main Stage was Skarlett Riot, who have performed at this event previously and were just as fantastic to see as always, we then saw Ward XVI take the stage with their spectacular show. Next to take to the Main Stage was the event’s special guest Devin Townsend, who did an acoustic set.
Headlining the Presents Stage was the ever wonderful Millie Manders and the Shutup, this being the 3rd time at the event. Headling the main stage was Florence Black
